About Me

Zack is an award winning photographer specializing in fine art landscape photography, and Photoshop processing. Zack has been teaching Photoshop for over 20 years, and photography for over 17 years.

“Art is in my blood. My father is a well known poster artist and painter. My mom was a painter, and print maker and my brother is an incredible designer. Art is a way of life for my family which I hope to pass on to my kids as well.”

“The love of nature is also something that my family and I are passionate about. I’ve been hiking, biking, rock climbing and backpacking since I was little. My parents taught me to appreciate the beauty in nature and to help preserve it for all to enjoy.”

“I love photographing the landscape. I seek out these type of locations to experience true wilderness, away from crowds, cities, and the stress of everyday life. Visiting these wild areas is a form of meditations for me, where I get to completely relax and appreciate the incredible beauty of nature. I try to convey the emotion I feel and the sense of wonder I have when I see such beauty in nature. That expression through my images, is what photography and art in general is all about for me.”
